Opening statements have been delayed in the trial of Antonio Armstrong, Jr., the man accused of killing his parents when he was just 16 years old. Armstrong, Jr. has already been tried twice for the 2016 murders of Dawn and Antonio Armstrong, Sr. Both trials ended in hung juries. Letitia Quinones-Hollins was featured as the legal expert on KPRC’s digital series “The Bench” on the day the trial was originally scheduled to begin. She discussed the judge’s decision to delay the trial for a week, the reasons behind it, and what it could mean for both the prosecution and the defense.
