Quinones & Associates has helped secure the acquittal of a Houston oil and gas executive on charges he sexually assaulted a woman after a date in May 2017.
The 41-year-old defendant faced one count of sexual assault after the woman told police the two had a sexual encounter after a night out drinking but that she was too inebriated to consent.
The trial, which took place in Harris County’s 338th District Court, lasted three and a half days. On August 24, after deliberating for more than six hours, the panel of nine men and three women reached the not guilty verdict.

Quinones-Hollins. “It all came down to a lack of evidence, and I’m so pleased the jury recognized that. I’m very happy we could get this very positive outcome for our client.”
